Audrey M. Porn, 91, a resident of Comforts of Home, Chippewa Falls, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Chippewa Falls.
She was born April 28, 1917 in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Joseph and Ethel (Chase)
Barthen.
She married Lawrence P. Porn on September 13, 1941 at Notre Dame Church, Chippewa Falls.
She was a member of Notre Dame Church.
Audrey was a homemaker who along with those duties was the neighborhood hairdresser. She enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening and playing cards.
Audrey is survived by: one son, Steve (Debby) Porn of Eau Claire; two daughters, Mary (David) Klinkenberg of Blair, WI and Dianne (Scott) Bertrand of Chippewa Falls; daughter-in-law, Barbara Porn of Marquette, MI; two brothers, Frank Barthen of Orient, OH and Robert Barthen of Eau Claire; two sisters, Betty (Robert) Crosby of Jim Falls and Norma Felmlee of Eau Claire; 7 grandchildren, Jill (Mark) Churchill, Michele (Rick)
Robitelle, Jason (Jamie) Mudrick, Nathan (Courtney) Mudrick, Kelly (Aaron) Chick, and Eric and Nicole Bertrand; four great grandchildren, Clara,
Lexi, Mia and Isabelle; four step granddaughters; and four step great grandchildren.

Audrey was preceded in death by: her husband, Lawrence; one son, Thomas Porn; one son-in-law, Bill
Mudrick; her parents; and one sister, Lorraine Spicer.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 10, 2008 at Notre Dame Church, Chippewa Falls. Rev. Brian J. Jazdzewski will be celebrant of the funeral Mass. Entombment will be in Hope Mausoleum, Chippewa Falls.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 9, and until 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls. The Ladies of Notre Dame will recite the rosary at 4 p.m. and there will be a Christian Vigil Service at 6 p.m. both Sunday at the funeral home.
