Mom will always be remembered for her tremendous love for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed watching all their sports games and activities. One of our special memories was how much she loved to make cookies with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. For a graduation gift, each grandchild would pick out a quilt pattern they liked and she would hand make each quilt with love. Some of her special traditions were to make an embroidered quilt for each new grandchild, embroider dish towels and pillow cases to take to the fair, table runners as wonderful Christmas gifts, among many more. In her younger years she was a proud member of 4-H where she showed her prized Leghorn chickens, then later she became a 4-H leader teaching many new 4-H members how to sew. She was a great supporter of her grandchildren and loved to be the first one at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair to watch them show. One of Mom's favorite hobbies was scrapbooking. She looked forward to playing cards every month with "the cousins" who have met for over 50 years. Mom kept in touch with many friends and relatives with writing over 100 Christmas cards every year. We have many fond and cherished memories of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. We miss you but find reassurance in knowing you are happy with Dad.

A special thank you goes out to everyone who has cared for Ruth, especially to the staff at Eagleton Residence, as well as St. Joseph's Hospice.
