Lorraine A. Dressel, 81, of 320 Colome St., Chippewa Falls, died Monday, November 23, 2009 at the Rutledge Home, Chippewa Falls with St. Joseph's Hospice.
She was born June 15, 1928 in Eau Claire, the daughter of Martin and Margaret (Christenson) Christenson.
Lorraine married Warren Dressel on September 29, 1944.
She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Chippewa Falls.
Lorraine is survived by: her husband, Warren; two sons, Rodney (Edith) Dressel of Middleburg, Fla. and Gordon (Belinda) Dressel of Eau Claire; two daughters, Judy (David) Denninger of Eau Claire and Janet (David) Hodowanic of Magnolia, Texas; one brother, Eugene (Gertrude) Christenson of Chippewa Falls; one sister, Dorothy (Everett) Worthington of Chippewa Falls; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; and one sister, Donna Moore.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 27, 2009 at Christ Episcopal Church, Chippewa Falls. Rev. George Stamm will be officiating. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
Friends may call one hour before the time of services Friday, November 27 at Christ Episcopal Church, Chippewa Falls.
