Jeanne Vera (Abel) Isom, 84, of Wissota Health Transitions, Chippewa Falls, passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at the home.
She was born December 28, 1924 in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Jacob and Roseabel (McCann) Abel.
Jeanne graduated from St. Charles School and Notre Dame High School in 1942.
She married Craig Hansman on June 5, 1942 in St. Paul, MN. She later married Don Isom in Chippewa Falls.
Jeanne worked for 24 years at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire retiring on her 65th birthday.
She is survived by: two sons, Jon (Kathy) Hansman of Ashland and Mark (Donna) Hansman of Chippewa Falls; daughter-in-law, Jeanne Hansman of Chippewa Falls; four grandchildren, Pamela (Boyan) Vakarelova of Sofia, Bulgaria, Lauri (William) Anderson, Michael, Jr. (Nancy) Hansman and Scott (Amanda) Hansman all of Chippewa Falls; one step-grandson, Scot Schoonover of Chippewa Falls; seven great grandchildren, Kristina and Lucas Anderson, Samantha and Craig Hansman, Blake, Logan and Tristyn Hansman; one step-great-grandson, Alec Schoonover; one sister, Isabel (Fred) Owens of San Francisco, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews.
Jeanne was preceded in death by: her husband, Donald Isom; beloved sons, Michael and infant, Jimmy; her parents; two infant granddaughters; one infant grandson; five sisters; and three brothers.
There will be no memorial services and committal will be at a later date.
