Thomas J. Lyberg, 48, of Chippewa
Falls, town of LaFayette, passed away suddenly on Monday,
September 21, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Chippewa Falls
after his many long courageous battles with heart
disease.
Thomas was born August 27, 1961, the son of Ennis and Madonna
Lyberg at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.
Thomas attended Chippewa Falls High School and graduated in
1981.
Tom worked for John Koskovich American Tree Service, and then
went to work for Davey Tree Expert Company when John retired.
He continued to work there for several years. Tom also worked
for Perrenoud's operating a large compactor at their landfill.
In 1993, Thomas was left disabled with hereditary heart
disease.
Tom is survived by: his parents, Ennis and Madonna Lyberg; his siblings: Pete
Lyberg, Becky Lyberg-Schuebel, Hugh Lyberg, Jeff Lyberg, James
Lyberg; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and too many friends to numerous to mention. |
He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, Simon and Leona Lyberg; and one brother, Donald Lyberg.
Tommy was #1 in so many people's lives. Tommy was one of the most loving, giving, and unselfish person you would ever meet. Family and friends remember Tom for his big heart. He always found the good in people and would help whenever he could or had the chance. Tom was never prejudicial to anyone. He treated everyone with the respect he would want to be treated with. Tom never asked for anything in return.
We will miss our friend, our brother, our son and we will remember Toms' love and friendship.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2009 until a Memorial service begins at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls followed by a gathering from 4 p.m. until ? at Ennis and Donna's residence at 16948 40th Ave., Chippewa Falls.
There will be a gathering at Poo's on the Pond from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2009.
