Carol J. Tschida, 77, of 14600 46th Ave. North, Chippewa Falls, village of Lake
Hallie, died peacefully with her family by her side Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire.
She was born September 24, 1932 in St. Paul, Minn., the daughter of Earl and Helen (Miller) Fritz.
She married Robert Tschida on October 8, 1949 in St. Paul, Minn. They recently celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary, renewing their vows.
Carol is survived by: her husband, Robert; one son, John (Karen) Tschida of Chippewa Falls; three daughters, Shirley Robertson of Altoona, Sandy (Jim) Peterson and Sally (Randy) Bruner both of Chippewa Falls; one brother, Robert (Linda) Fritz of White Bear Lake, Minn.; two sisters, Betty (Russell) Oakes of Woodbury, Minn. and Cheryl (Dwight) Dupey of Forest Lake, Minn.; one sister-in-law, Edith Fritz of St. Paul, Minn.; 10 grandchildren, Nicole (Joe) Manny, David Robertson, Kevin (Nikki)

She was preceded in death by: her parents; and one brother, Earl Fritz, Jr.
Carols' family was very special to her including her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and they all will miss her cooking.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 16, 2009 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Chippewa Falls. Pastor Paul Oppedahl and Pastor Kathy Tulman will be officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Chippewa Falls.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 15 at the Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls and one hour before the time of services Monday at the church.
The family prefers Memorials to Irvine Park or Our Saviour's Lutheran Church Youth & Education Programs.
